Scheherazade Initiatives runs participatory theatre workshops with migrant and refugee populations in the UK and abroad.

Objects: To Advance Education For The Public Benefit By The Promotion Of The Arts, In Particular But Not Exclusively The Art Of Drama.it Is Agreed That The Main Beneficiaries Of The Charity Will Be Impoverished Women And Children, Although Through Perfomances And Public Workshops, Other Members Of The Public May Also Benefit. This Is In Accordance With Ôtest A - Tackling Disadvantageö Of The Equality Act Guidance As The Charityæs Aim Is To Tackle Particular Disadvantages Faced By The Target Group. Typically Such Individuals Are Living On Low Incomes, Have Little Or No Access To Social Welfare Programmes, Experience Discrimination, Gender Inequality And Few Educational Opportunities. The Charity Shall Also Train Other Organizations, Social Workers, Teachers Etc In Its Methodology So That They Can Carry Out Similar Projects In Their Own Communities.
