The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).

## **Objectives and Activities**

## **Objectives and aims**

The principle objectives of the charity continue to be:

1. The advancement of the Christian faith in any part of the world

2. The preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through events hosted by the charity or other charities

3. The relief of poverty, suffering and social deprivation in any part of the world

## **Public benefit**

The charity trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their powers and duties.

## **Achievements and Performance**

As we reflect on the achievements of Walking Like Jesus Ministries (WLJM) over the past year, it is with immense gratitude and pride that we share the impactful work we have accomplished. Our commitment to advancing the Christian faith, serving our local community, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders has been at the forefront of our mission. This year marked our 5th Tent Revival, held in Bedfordshire, which proved to be a resounding success. Over the course of the event, we held more than 22 services that attracted attendees from diverse backgrounds. The positive impact on the local community was evident, as many experienced spiritual renewal and connection with one another. Our efforts to create a safe and welcoming environment were bolstered by our strengthened relationships with the local council, police, and other authorities.

To commemorate a decade of service, we organised a Fire Conference that brought together renowned church leaders and members of our community. This milestone event celebrated our journey and achievements over the past ten years, highlighting the growth and influence of WLJM in the lives of many.

In our endeavour to advance the Christian faith on an international scale, we embarked on a mission to the USA. Collaborating with various churches and charities, we spearheaded outreach initiatives that aimed to spread the message of hope and faith, further strengthening our global connections. In addition, our revival tour this year allowed us to reach remote areas such as the Caribbean and various European nations, including Austria, Slovakia, Finland, and Ireland. The impact was profound, as we witnessed the advancement of the Christian faith in these locations, fostering hope and love among diverse communities.

Pragma Church continues to flourish, as evidenced by our annual New Year’s Eve crossover service, which welcomed a large congregation. The enthusiasm and participation of our community members reflect the growing spiritual engagement and support for our mission. Additionally, we have seen significant growth in our building fund, which will facilitate the investment into a new home for Pragma Church and serve as the headquarters for WLJM.

We also held our inaugural open air service for Pragma Church, which was met with enthusiasm from the local community. This event not only provided an opportunity for worship in a unique setting but also further solidified our presence and outreach efforts within the area.

OFFICIAL

WLJM has made remarkable strides over the past year, and we are excited about the future. Our commitment to serving our community, fostering relationships, and advancing the Christian faith remains unwavering. As we continue on this journey, we invite all stakeholders to join us in prayer and support as we seek to further our mission and make a lasting impact.

## **Future Work**

As we look to the future, we are excited to share that we have allocated over £100,000 this year for the building fund, but we recognise that we must go further. Our focus needs to be on intensifying our campaigns for partnerships and expanding our activities to garner greater support for our mission to advance the gospel. This commitment encompasses vital initiatives such as mission trips, crusades, and the continuation of our large-scale events, including Trafalgar Square and the tent revival. Additionally, we are planning to hold another transformative conference aimed at equipping individuals to effectively share and promote the Christian faith.

Our vision remains steadfast in acquiring a dedicated building to serve as the headquarters for WLJM. This facility will play a crucial role in our mission, including:

- Hosting regular weekly services for our diverse congregation of families and young adults. - Facilitating evangelical meetings and conferences, both indoors and outdoors, throughout the year.

- Housing a state-of-the-art studio for producing and distributing our media to a global audience.

To realise this vision, our projections indicate that we will need to raise £2.75 million to secure such a facility. Our fundraising efforts will be primarily driven through online broadcasts and social media channels, aiming to engage a broader audience in support of our mission. Together, we can expand our reach and continue making a profound impact in advancing the gospel.
