service – We create a place of trust and safety where people can grow in a secure environment; Never boring – We always have a sense of fun, excitement and adventure in all that we do.
Although we started in Sunderland we continue to provide services to the local area and beyond, reaching as far as Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh, covering a wide area of the North of England.
Our priorities have altered due to what our families have said they need and by following the current economic difficulties our families face, these can be broadly classified as Support - Training - Play Groups - Family Support – Accessible Events and Parties - Education Support - Emergency Essentials including food and warm accessories.
A new service for us this year was delivering stimuli packs to our families SEND children and their siblings, ensuring children who are shielding due to their medical conditions and not able to access a full range of school activities, we provided over 400 play packs which were delivered free of charge. We also provided emergency essentials including food and warm bedding for those families most in need. This has been very labour intensive but a huge part of our delivered services this year.
We were able to provide so many packs due to the support from our wonderful friends at Virtual Racing.com and Songbirds.
