## **Annual Report – Dartmouth Caring – 1187326** 

Due to problems opening our bank account for this charity,, a process that was not completed until June 2021, having taken 18 months to achieve, we decided to postpone the closure of the legacy charity – Dartmouth Caring 900226. 

The legacy charity will cease to trade on 31[st] March.2022 and this charity, the CIO version of the same operation will commence trading on 1[st] April 2022. 

This avoids two sets of accounts and accounting fees in one financial year. 

The delay in opening the account was created by the pandemic which meant we could not start operations as planned on 1[st] April 2021.  The pandemic meant Lloyds Bank closed their new account work for 9 months and then errors from them, for which we have been compensated. 

Charity 1187326 did no trade in 2020-21, the trustees remained the same.
