Ravensworth Community Bowling Club
Trustees Annual report 2020/21
Ravensworth Community Bowling Club was registered as a Charity in January 2020. We were to take over operation of Ravensworth Park form Gateshead Council in April 2020 by way of Asset Transfer, and were to be granted a 35 year lease on the Bowling Green and pavilion.
In March 2020 the country was locked down by the Covid pandemic, and all negotiations with Gateshead Council were suspended.
The club received a donation of £75, raised by the sale of used bowling equipment, but paused all activities for the remainder of the financial year.
At the time of writing this report (December 2021) negotiations with Gateshead Council have resumed, and Asset Transfer is expected to be confirmed before April 2022
