8. 2023 was another year on from the dlfficull dkys ol the pandemic. As the year pwressed rt felt like parish lrfe
had setued back into a steady state that was recognisably prè-COVID. While. by d8finition. out-of-the-nom
themselv85, the St AF￿r&W.9 tercentenary ￿lebratIonS (which ran from Spring 2022 to Spnng 2023 and wor• a
rlynami¢ mix of S￿al and liturglcal eventsl. did much to re4ement the parish back into no￿85 life.

16. At St Andrews, the choir, led for40+ years by organist Mr Cofrn Marston, continu8S to play 8 Major part in
Sunday worship. At Christ Church, Mr Philip Bell has continued to be centre stsge in all r8spec¢s regarding organ
matters. Mr Bill Wright (￿th others) leads the'muslcgroup. aspects ol worship on th8 1st and 3rd Sundays at

17. The Penrith Bell Ringers have conb'nued to provKltr • much-valued eall to worshlp every Sunday moming-

the year and in our natK)nal public life. Our bell ringers helped us celebrate His M8jesty'8 (xjronation in May.

churches on Sundays. The primary focus for engaging chsldren and th8ir fanNli8s has been our 10.30 am

the URC cornfflunity this Christ Church based opw)rtunty is an example of how well Ii)cal churches cooperate for
Ihe good of all.
