**rescued, assessed, and settled 74 dogs**
**into new homes. This has directly**
**benefitted lo74nely people and, by**
**extension, family members as well, plus**
**of course the animals themselves.**
**We know that loneliness is the unseen**
**illness and we feel that we make a**
**contribution to wider society by reducing,**
**albeit in a small way, demand on our**
**health services.**

**the desired beneficial effect on those we**
**support and this includes those attending**
