The Travel and High Altitude Medicine booklet remains a popular download from our website. Briefly the website went down due lo technical software issues and we were able lo solve these issues quickly when users pointed oul that the download was not working. The problem had arisen because our WordPress website needed some security upgrades and this highlighted the need to have some long term funds in place to maintain the website. As rnentioned in the summary above, it is unlikely that further field research at altitude wll be undertaken by Medical Expeditions because of the prohibitive cost of insurance.
