|||||||it. A part reimbursement<br>ofthe deposits|
|||||||from the tour company was returned<br>to|
|||||||members.|

|||||||managed<br>training<br>and rehearsal<br>by hiring a|
|||||||large "Covid Safe" hall.<br>From July onwards|

|||||||weather<br>permitted.<br>The full band was||
|||||||able to rehearse<br>in a hall large enough|to|
|||||||accommodate<br>social distancing<br>and||
|||||||other Covid precautions.||
|||||||The efforts to train and rehearse<br>paid||
|||||||rewards<br>from July until early December,||
|||||||when the band were able to start making||
|||||||public performances<br>again.<br>These were||
|||||||held outdoors<br>and indoors by using large||
|||||||spaces with audience<br>numbers<br>planned||
|||||||and limited<br>by advance ticket sales only.||

|||||||||||once more.<br>Audiences<br>were delighted|to|

|||||||||||attend, hear live music and yet still feel||

|||||||||||traditionally<br>the band's busiest time of||
|||||||||||year, festive performances<br>began but||
|||||||||||then had to be abandoned<br>as a new||
|||||||||||strain ofcovid increased the effects of||
|||||||||||the pandemic.||
|||||||||||From May 2021 we also recommenced||
|||||||||||rehearsals<br>for our training<br>band,||
|||||||||||culminating<br>in two performances<br>during||
|||||||||||the Christmas<br>period.<br>The first involved||
|||||||||||a tour of local nursing<br>homes,<br>bringing||
|||||||||||some much needed entertainment<br>to||
|||||||||||residents,<br>many ofwhom<br>had been||
|||||||||||isolated for much of2021. The second||
|||||||||||performance<br>was part ofthe Museum of||
|||||||||||the Moon art installation<br>by Luke Jerram||
|||||||||||which came to Grimsby on tour. Working||
|||||||||||in partnership<br>with The Culture House,||
|||||||||||the training<br>band performed<br>during<br>one||
|||||||||||ofthe sessions,<br>providing<br>an audible||
|||||||||||aspect to this exhibition<br>which gave an||
|||||||||||extra depth to the visitor experience.||
