The society attended the Fun Palace event in The Garw Valley. Weare in the process of putting our archives on The People's Collection Wales Website. Members of the society have given talks to local socletles, groups and schools on varlou$ aspects of the Garw Valley. Our fami project has been completed but wlll need updating in the future. Our archive is becoming more extensive each year and we are now putting this on The P8opl8's Coll8Ction of Wales Website which hopefully will increase awareness in the Garw Valley. We have had an exhibition on Carnivals in the valley. We have also helped other societies with their archiving using our experience to guide them. We have a collection of old toys dating back to 1950'$. We used these with a Fun Palace event and were surprised with the response from today's children and their parents. It was a great succ88s.
