A CODsequen¢e of adopting a Total Returns Strategy is thal dividends and iDteTest are added to the investh]ent
portfolio and as such the Charity sells boldings in order to fvnd thc grdllt giving activities. This requires the
Trustees to ￿n￿allY adjust the grant giving budget as It is dependent upon the inv&stm¢nl perforn)anc¢ and
valuation.
During 2£k25 the valuation of the investments experienced significant swings mainly as a consequence of the
global tariffs imposed by the US. Between January and the end of March loss￿ of almost £384k were seen
r¢suliing in a slight loss in The Twsl's investment valuation over the year. Global markels continue to be
bulent with the appointed Investment Managers monitoring the risks and keeping the tn]stees informed.
a) On the 31st March 2025 the investment portfolio was valued at £6,828,957 which is a decrease from
the previous year's valuation of £6.856,727.
b) Investm￿1$ to the value of £60.000 were sold to cover both th¢ grant giving process and administration

Policies ond Public Bene
The Trnstees take into account thc Charity CoD]mission's guidance on public benefit and the specific

Th¢ Charity ¢ontinues Irene Prestwich's vision that her home be used to help people find the personal
transformation she herself experienced. This work was startcd by the pioneer Frank Buchman, a Lutheran
