Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)

During this year the trustees secured some donations and grant to support Afghan refugees with advice, translation, interpreting, counselling, mentoring and necessities support. This has helped the trustees to benefit over 40 needy persons on a weekly basis supporting those most vulnerable. The trustees intend to continue supporting more beneficiaries in the coming year. The trustees have considered the general guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission and has taken due regard of that guidance. The trustees consider that they are satisfied that the charity’s activities benefit the public.

Section D Achievements and performance

The charity has a policy not to hold any reserves but to retain and raise Brief statement of the sufficient funds for the charitable projects in the UK. During the period a charity’s policy on reserves total of £121 was secured in donations. Expenditure during the period was £7,000, with the costs primarily for the delivery of the Refugee project. This generated a deficit of £6,879 which was met with prior year surplus. Total reserves held is £162 for the period which the trustees will use for benefitting more refugees.
