Correspondence Address: 76 Stevens Road, Dagenham, RM8 2QL
ANNUAL RETURN
2019/20 & 2020/21
CHARITY PURPOSE:
To advance the Christian religion in accordance with the statement of faith in the United Kingdom for the benefit of the public, in particular but not exclusively through the holding of services for worship, prayer meetings and classes.
Performance:
Our charity Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Tentmakers UK was registered by the Charity Commission of England and Wales on 19th December 2019. We have strived since that date to uphold and fulfill our purpose as a Charity. The Covid-19 pandemic which started about three months into our operations unfortunately had a limiting influence on our work. Activities at our three branches in Wolverton , Milton Keynes, Isle of Dogs and Slough were at a stand still as a result of restrictions on religious gatherings by the government most of 2020 and 2021. We had some limited gatherings in the summer of 2020 but had to lock up shop early and up to mid 2021. We have had limited services at that time and presently we hold only services on Sundays with limited attendance in compliance with set rules in order tp curtail the spread of Covid-19. We however are steadifast in our set goals as a Charity and continue to hold the goals and objectives set out in our statement of faith and have taken the commission’s public benefit guidance into account when making any decision that is relevant to our charity.
The Charity has not received any donations nor has it sort any dononations from other charitable organisations or government. Our funding has been from members' contibution. No employees have been engaged so we do not pay any salaries or renumeration to anyone including trustees and members. We did not seek or receive money from the government furlough program while it lasted.
Our expenditure has been mainly to pay rent on halls hired for our services. We also do not have any trading subsidiaries and have no income from within or outside of the United Kingdom aside members' contibution as stated above. The charity has no debt obligation to any individual(s) or corporate institutions.
Trustees:
As contained in our CIO, trustees are recruited from among members and congregation of the Charity. The current trustees are:
Timeyin Ejoor
Olufunke Adiki
Elizabeth Sijuwade
During the course of year 2020, Mr. Augustus Akonnor ceased to be a trustee of the Charity.
Reporting Incidences:
No incidences, minor or major in safeguarding, fraud, theft or otherwise have taken place necessitating a report to the Charity Commission since the registration of our Charity, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Tentmakers UK.
