Trustees, Annual Report for the period 1 Jan 2023 to 31 Dec 2023 Charity name: Milton Christian Fellowship CIO Charity registration number: 1187024 Objectives and Activities Our purpose is the advancement oflhe Christian faith generally. We have considered the Charity Commission guidance on public benefit and SFecific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion. We continue to seek to share the gospel with others through services, OLrtreach and practical help. During the week we hold: Sunday services for Worship, player and Bible teaching. Tuesday Night Prayer Meetings Thursday Night Bible Studies Occasional street outreaches Tract distribution by individual members We continue to livestream the church services via Zoom which enables those unable to attend the Servi in person to join us remotely. Achievements and Performance We continue to hold corporate prayer on Zoom. We have a prayer answering God and gtve glory to Him for prayers He has answered. At Christmas 2023 we held Christmas servi$ in hvo care homes which were well received. During the year we had a new kitchen installed during which some rotten timbers in the rear wall structure were found. These were replaced. The total cost amounted to £11,961. Financial Review Receipts for the 12-month period totalled £20,349 of which £3.107 was interest reiVed We have an ambition of giving a minimum of 10% of our income away to mission and other Christian work. During the period 65.6°k was donated to missions and other Christian work. ReseTves MCF aims to maintain free reseNes at a level sufficient to cover up to Iwelve months, general expenditure, in order to give MCF time to respond to unexpected developments. At the end of the 12 months free reserves had decreased by £8,451. It is also our policy to hold an amount for likely building works required due lo the condition of the building in the next 5-10 years. MCF has a low average excess of income over expenditure making significant expendrture of this nature drfFicult to cover. During 2024 we intend lo continue spending on necessary maintenance and update of the church building, starting with repair and painting of the exterior. As at 31 December 2023 free reserves slood at £148,550.
