Para 1.38 Contribution made by volunteers **The CoDR teachers give much more time to the project than they are paid for during the delivery of taught classes. As such they should be recognised for their voluntary work.  Imogen Knight actively manages this to ensure that teachers are well supported and recognised for their contribution.** Other

Classes were delivered weekly to**<br>**2 cohorts of students at Castle**<br>**School, Cambridge between July**<br>**2019 (set up by the working**<br>**group established prior to the**<br>**formation of the Charity) and**<br>**March 2020.  Castle School is for**<br>**students with an EHCP and**<br>**facing specific and often very**<br>**complex physical, educational**<br>**and social challenges,**<br>**2. The Deputy Head completed a**<br>**written review of the 1st term’s**<br>**work in Dec 2019 which was very**<br>**positive and confirmed the**<br>**request to continue the classes in**<br>**the school timetable for the rest**<br>**of the school year**<br>**3. CoDR Teachers all reported and**<br>**recorded improved engagement**<br>**and confidence amongst**<br>**participants in the classes over**<br>**the time period.  Castle teachers**<br>**reported that this was a popular**<br>**class amongst students and**<br>**teachers and something they**<br>**looked forward to every week.**<br>**4. Work on establishing a**<br>**qualitative reporting structure for**<br>**participants was begun, so that**<br>**the impact of the dance classes**<br>**on participants over time can be**<br>**recorded and reported back to**<br>**the school, the students and their**|

- **5. Initial enquiries from Mayfield School (a local primary school) about implementing Colours of Dance Radiates classes for KS1 and KS2 classes were received, until a bereavement and change of Head caused that to be paused.** 

- **6. Covid-19 brought classes to a halt in March 2020 and since then, no classes have been possible.  Mayfield School were unable to start anything new within the school during the pandemic, so that conversation was paused.**
