Hope Church has continued to meet and serve its members and the local communlty.
As a CIO it hos continued with the 4 tfuslees- Peter Chalkley Ichairl, Robert Fems, lan Jukes and
Mark Reynolds. Of those, Mark Reynolds and lan Jukes are also elders, ￿sponsible for the splrftual
leadership of the church. Neither recelves remuneration from the CIO.
We employ a part time administrator ft)r 16 hours per week.
The trustees hwe met regularty ihrough the year and Jre involved in ensurln8 paymenis are made
within a8reed budgets. Day to day running expenses are budgeted for and monltored regularly.
Commiiments are only made after full discusyon as to their imp11co￿onS and risks.
We conttnue io see church members being generous in Eivin8 regularly and, not havlng a pald thurch
leader, we ￿￿11$e the savin8 made to enhance the support we give to vulnerable and financially
challenged famllles In our communlty. We have a150 SUPPOrted familles In a local prlmary school
when they were unable to afford School trip costs.
We contlnue to Ilnanclalty support a church In Le50tho and wlll revlew thls a8ain next ￿ar. Thls Is
seen as a varlable autgoln8 dependln8 on exchange rntes.
We contlntse to own and opernte The Old Gospel Hall.
Hope Church Is part of "Comrnls5ion" In the New Frontler5 f4mlly of churches. Th15 gives a wlder
context for decision making and accountabillty. We give monthly Into thelr costs.

Hi Rob, 

We have had a look over these accounts and from what we can see everything is looking in order. 

Please see below notes made of the accounts for this year and looking back over the comparisons for last year. 

- Donations are UP from last year (£88,545 to £102,708) 

- Expenses have increased significantly from last year (£76,566 to £106,807) Increase in Hall services due to sink and boiler service Significant increase in hall redevelopment is due to damp remedial work Lesotho involvement increase due to polytunnel and immigration system Giving donations increase from last year Increase in salary due to Laura’s wage 

- There are again some differences in the expense figures from last year but again it is minimal. 

Overall profit is down largely but again this is due to reasons above. 

I have attached the examiner’s report which will need to be filled when you submit the accounts. 

I have also attached our fee note for your attention in due course.
