Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17		The object of the Three Bears Foundation is: The advancement of health and the saving of lives of people with cancer in particular but not limited to people with pancreatic cancer. The above object will be achieved by such means as the Charity Trustees see fit from time to time and may include, but shall not be limited to: (i) making grants to groups or service providers working with individual families & groups living with a diagnosis of cancer. and (ii) provide grants to charities involved in cancer research. (iii) Raising awareness of the symptoms and impact of cancer.

Donations The Three Bears Foundation contributed to the3-year pancreatic cancer Research Fellow at York St John in the sum of £40,408.

		The Three Bears Foundation also funded a £20k wireless nurse-call system for the hospice’s inpatient unit and Wellbeing Hub. Other Expenditure Costs were incurred during the period in the sum of £51,710.60, which included fees associated with the golf day, winter ball, Dragon Boat Race, and Greek Night. Merchandise was purchased for resale and marketing; networking and administrative costs were also incurred

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	SORP reference Para 1.20	In the period ended September 2025 the charity’s fundraising activities included fund raising through the sale of merchandise and golf day event, Greek evening, bowling, wine tasting, Dragon racing and a winter ball. The Three Bears Foundation contributed to the3-year pancreatic cancer Research Fellow at York St John. The Three Bears Foundation also funded a £20k wireless nurse-call system for the hospice’s inpatient unit and Wellbeing Hub. Distribution of flyers to households in York helped to increase awareness. Trustees attended regular business networking sessions to increase awareness of the

symptoms and impact of cancer.

The Three Bears Foundation continued to be the resident Charity of four networking groups and during the period met with approximately 100-150 businesses and individuals during networking sessions.
