2. Structure, Governance and Management
The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation governed by its constitution. The trustees are responsible for the overall governance, strategic direction, and financial management of the charity. Trustees meet as required and ensure the charity complies with its legal and regulatory obligations.
Trustees are appointed and retire in accordance with the provisions of the charity’s governing document.
3. Objects and Public Benefit Charitable Objects

The relief of poverty throughout the world, primarily (but not exclusively) by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need and/or charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty.

The advancement of education throughout the world, primarily (but not exclusively) by providing educational grants and scholarships, teacher training courses and educational talks.

The relief and prevention of eye-related sickness and disease throughout the world, primarily (but not exclusively) by facilitating and/or providing access to health care services and educating the public in all areas of eye-related sickness and disease.

The advancement of good citizenship through the promotion of volunteering.
The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and confirm that the charity’s objects are for the public benefit.
4. Activities, Achievements and Performance
During the reporting period, the charity did not carry out operational or grant-making activities and received no income.
The trustees used the year to maintain the charity’s governance arrangements and review its charitable objects.
The trustees are satisfied that this period of inactivity was appropriate while ensuring the charity remains compliant.
5. Financial Review
Financial Position
The charity had no income and no expenditure during the reporting period.
Reserves Policy
As the charity had no income or expenditure during the year, no reserves were held.
6. Accounts
The charity prepared a receipts and payments account for the financial period ending 05 April 2025. As the charity had no income, expenditure, assets, or liabilities during the period, the accounts reflect a nil financial position. The charity is not required to have its accounts independently
examined or audited for this period.
7. Risk Management
The trustees regularly consider the major risks facing the charity. Given the absence of financial activity during the year, risks were minimal. Trustees continue to monitor governance and regulatory compliance.
8. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and accounts and ensuring they comply with charity law and Charity Commission requirements.
