Kingdom Come Temple is a family and Community oriented based Church which was launched on the 15th Of March 2018. We believe in the Bible in its totality. Our Church is richly diverse with congregants from different various backgrounds and range from different ages. We come together in unity and joy to serve God.With this act in mind we go out in love to spread the Love Of God to reach out to the community by extending a hand of friendship to them through the action of sharing The Word and by our character in deeds. In compliance with the Company Acts we aim to attain the goals and objectives by providing educational assistance in training, healthcare projects and all manner of support designed to enable individuals. The majority of its fundings is received by donations.

Our Aims and Objectives

Our Charity’s goals and objectives set out in the Church’s Article of Association are the advancement of the Christian Religion mainly, but not exclusively, by means of declaring and spreading the Christian message in an evangelistic way. The efforts to alleviate or address areas of poverty in places of financial hardship, especially in third world countries by providing and assisting in the provision of education, training and healthcare projects. This is in addition to providing support which enables individuals generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. Our goals, objectives and activities are reviewed each year.

Since the issuance of the church's previous report, it has consistently operated within established norms. The primary services persistently occur every Sunday morning, accompanied by prayer meetings convened every Monday and Friday via the virtual platform Zoom. Additionally, Bible Study sessions are conducted every Wednesday evening, similarly facilitated through Zoom.

Since November 2022 until the present month of November 2023, an array of supplementary activities has transpired which will be expounded upon in greater detail henceforth:

5[th] Year Anniversary Easter Celebration

A highlight on the church's calendar in 2023 was the commemoration of its 5-year anniversary, a particularly joyous occasion coinciding with the Easter weekend. Notably, the church's inception also occurred on an Easter weekend back in 2018. The festivities spanned three days, commencing on Friday, April 7th, with an uplifting message from Senior Pastor Rev Anthony Antwi. The following day, Saturday, April 8th, witnessed a charitable outreach where dedicated volunteers from the church provided sustenance to the local homeless centre, SHOC. Additionally, the church extended support to Step Together, a charity aiding adults with learning difficulties, presenting them with a £250.00 donation to further their charitable endeavours.

The culmination of the anniversary celebration took place on Easter Sunday, featuring a special ministerial guest from Ghana. The guest minister blessed the members of Kingdom Come Temple with his impactful message. During this momentous service, the Senior Pastor took a moment to express gratitude, acknowledging and appreciating the hard work of volunteers from various church departments over the past 5 years.

Thanksgiving Service – 30[th] April 2023

The church has orchestrated this service to express gratitude to God for His manifold blessings upon the lives of Kingdom Come Temple members. This occasion provides a platform for members to share testimonials, recounting diverse acts of God in their personal lives, family dynamics, and professional spheres. Witnessing the remarkable ways in which God is actively working through each member of the church left the congregants in awe and served as an inspirational testament. Furthermore, this gathering elevated the faith of those members who are currently in a season of waiting, infusing them with renewed hope.

Father’s Day – 18[th] June 2023

The church came together in a heartfelt celebration to honour and appreciate the fathers within its community. With deep gratitude and respect, the event highlighted the vital role that fathers play in the spiritual and familial life of the congregation. The gathering featured touching tributes, expressions of love, and moments of recognition that underscored the dedication, guidance, and strength exhibited by the fathers in the church. From uplifting messages acknowledging the importance of paternal influence to special activities that fostered camaraderie and joy, the event created an atmosphere of warmth and appreciation. Attendees were moved by the collective spirit of thankfulness, emphasising the essential role fathers play in shaping the spiritual foundation of the church. It was an enriching and memorable occasion, celebrating the exemplary qualities of fathers and the profound impact they have on the church and family communities.

Picnic in the Park – 26[th] August 2023

The church organised its annual Picnic in the Park, extending outreach to the community and collaborating with the Tesco charity. The church was generously supplied with food and snacks by Tesco, fostering a communal sharing of provisions. Additionally, members actively participated in this community-driven event by contributing and sharing a variety of food and drinks, further enhancing the spirit of unity and fellowship. The event was followed with family orchestrated games for age groups including a bouncy castle for kids.

Church Christmas Party December 2022

The church expressed its joy in resuming its annual Christmas party following the pandemic, including the reinstatement of the customary lunch that the church typically organises and caters. This tradition is deeply cherished by the church as it plays a pivotal role in fostering transparency. The transparency initiative is upheld by church leaders who conscientiously unveil the church accounts during this event, elucidating the utilisation of finances throughout the year and outlining the upcoming plans for the ensuing year. Subsequently, the festivities continue with live music and a meticulously curated three-course lunch provided by external professionals from the local community.

Crossover Service 31[st] December 2022

On the night of December 31st, the crossover service unfolded as a solemn prayer vigil uniting the families and congregants of Kingdom Come Temple. This gathering of devoted believers was dedicated to fervent intercession for our nation, the United Kingdom, as well as petitioning for the well-being of our families and employment. The purpose of the service was to patiently await divine intervention, with the expectation that God would minister to His people and unveil His plans for the church during this sacred occasion.

Couples Afternoon Tea – 11[th] February 2023

In response to the escalating rates of divorce and separation in the United Kingdom, the church's steadfast commitment to the sanctity of marriage led to the organisation of a "Couples Afternoon Tea." The primary objective of this gathering was to impart valuable insights on fostering enduring relationships. Accomplishing this goal involved the sharing of testimonials from couples with 30 and 50 years of marital experience, offering a wealth of wisdom. Additionally, the Senior Pastor elucidated on relevant scriptures from the Bible, emphasising God's intentions for individuals in their relationships.

Mother’s Day- 19[th] March 2023

The church joyously celebrated the invaluable role of mothers in a heartwarming event dedicated to honouring these pillars of strength and love. The occasion, filled with gratitude and admiration, featured heartfelt tributes, expressions of love, and special moments of recognition for the mothers within the congregation. From uplifting messages acknowledging the sacrifices and unwavering support of mothers to musical performances that resonated with the spirit of appreciation, the event created a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Attendees were moved by the collective spirit of gratitude, and the fellowship served as a beautiful reminder of the significance of maternal love within the church community. It was an inspiring and uplifting occasion that left a lasting impression on all, celebrating the nurturing spirit that mothers bring to the church family.

International Day – 27[th] August 2023

Characterised by its diverse membership from various corners of the globe, embraced and celebrated its multicultural richness by hosting a dedicated service. The event exuded vibrancy as members, representing different parts of the world, adorned themselves in traditional cultural attire and partook in a post-service feast featuring dishes reflective of their respective cultures.

Thanksgiving Service – 24[th] September 2023

The church has meticulously arranged this service as an opportunity to extend heartfelt gratitude to God for the abundant blessings bestowed upon the members of Kingdom Come Temple. This special occasion serves as a platform for members, including those involved in charitable activities, to openly share testimonials that highlight the myriad ways in which God has manifested in their individual lives, familial relationships, and professional endeavours. The awe-inspiring narratives of God's active presence and intervention in the lives of each member leave an indelible impact, serving as a powerful testament to His grace. Additionally, this collective gathering serves to uplift the faith of those currently navigating a season of anticipation, instilling in them a rejuvenated sense of hope and confidence.

Prayer Retreat – 19[th] October – 22[nd] October 2023

The prayer retreat held at the House of Bread by our church was a profoundly spiritual experience that left an indelible mark on the 22 individuals who embarked on this transformative journey. The church organized a meaningful excursion to Coventry, transporting participants in a minibus to foster a sense of community and shared devotion. This retreat, characterized by a regimen of fasting and dedicated prayer, became a crucible of spiritual growth and personal transformation. Participants ranged from the vibrant youth to seasoned adults, creating a diverse tapestry of collective faith. The House of Bread served as a sanctified space where the power of prayer was harnessed, moulding and shaping everyone involved. The retreat became a catalyst for deep introspection and communion with the divine, fostering a sense of unity and shared spiritual rejuvenation among the participants.

Alabaster Service – 28[th] October 2023

The Alabaster Service at our church proved to be a truly miraculous and inspiring event that resonated with the spirit of unity and divine connection. The atmosphere was charged with an undeniable sense of awe as the congregation came together in earnest praise. The worship team led the assembly through soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, creating a space where the divine presence was palpable. Miraculous moments unfolded as individuals experienced spiritual breakthroughs, healings, and a profound sense of peace. The night was marked by an overwhelming sense of inspiration as testimonies were shared, recounting the transformative power of worship in the lives of attendees. It was a testament to the profound impact that collective praise can have, fostering a sense of community and reaffirming the strength found in spiritual togetherness.

Accountants' report to the trustees of Kingdom Come Temple Ltd

You consider that the company is exempt from an audit for the year ended 28 February 2023. You have acknowledged, on the balance sheet, your responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. These responsibilities include preparing accounts that give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company at the end of the financial year and of its income and expenses for the financial year.

In accordance with your instructions, we have prepared the accounts which comprise the Income and Expenses Account, the Balance Sheet and the related notes from the accounting records of the charity and on the basis of information and explanations you have given to us.

We have not carried out an audit or any other review, and consequently we do not express any opinion on these accounts.

1 Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).

Turnover

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods have transferred to the buyer. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.

Tangible fixed assets

Tangible fixed assets are measured at cost less accumulative depreciation and any accumulative impairment losses. Depreciation is provided on all tangible fixed assets, other than freehold land, at rates calculated to write off the cost, less estimated residual value, of each asset evenly over its expected useful life, as follows:
