TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT

KINGDOM COME TEMPLE LTD

Kingdom Come Temple is a family and Community oriented based Church which was launched on the 15th Of March 2018. We believe in the Bible in its totality. Our Church is richly diverse with congregants from different various backgrounds and range from different ages. We come together in unity and joy to serve God.With this act in mind we go out in love to spread the Love Of God to reach out to the community by extending a hand of friendship to them through the action of sharing The Word and by our character in deeds. In compliance with the Company Acts1985 we aim to attain the goals and objectives by providing educational assistance in training, healthcare projects and all manner of support designed to enable individuals. The majority of its fundings is received by donations.

Our Aims and Objectives

Our Charity’s goals and objectives set out in the Church’s agreements Of Association are the advancement of the Christian Religion mainly, but not exclusively, by means of declaring and spreading the Christian message in an evangelistic and teaching nature and method. The efforts to alleviate or address areas of poverty in places of financial hardship locally and worldwide, especially in third world countries by providing and assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare projects and all the necessary support put in place to enable individuals to generate a sustainable income and be self-sufficient. Our goals, objectives and activities are reviewed each year.

This enables us to see what we have achieved, where adjustments need to be made and introduce new strategies to improve our work in the previous 12months.

The Report

The church was able to continue in its functionality as the previous year up until March 2020 where the services were affected by COVID-19 and restrictions placed by the government. As the church adhered to the guidelines the Pastors and leaders made themselves available to counselling members and non-members who were affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

The church moved to virtual services to adhere to government guidelines by providing its weekly services via Facebook and YouTube, this became the centre of the church functionality alongside counselling the bereaved and emotionally effected people of the community.

The church continued with its aim and objective of serving its community even through COVID19 pandemic by providing families with food shopping and groceries.

Towards the end of 2020, the church was allowed back to its community hall under strict government covid -19 guidelines, which needed to strictly be adhered to. A covid -19 risk assessment was undertaken in line with the government guidance for churches and this included providing details for the track and trace for our weekly services which continues to date.

The church also created groups of bubbles for members to join the service at the community hall and continued to offer the online service for members and non- members who felt uncomfortable coming to the service at the community centre.

All workers in the church who serve the community have been encouraged to take the double vaccination to protect themselves and the community they serve.

1 Accounting policies

Basis of preparation

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).

Turnover

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services. Turnover from the sale of goods is recognised when the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods have transferred to the buyer. Turnover from the rendering of services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the contract. The stage of completion of a contract is measured by comparing the costs incurred for work performed to date to the total estimated contract costs.

Creditors

Short term creditors are measured at transaction price (which is usually the invoice price). Loans and other financial liabilities are initially recognised at transaction price net of any transaction costs and subsequently measured at amortised cost determined using the effective interest method.
