support for senior citizens, diverse fundraising events, sports activities, and cultural classes, the association endeavors to create a vibrant and supportive community environment throughout the year.

However, in response to the post-COVID-19 landscape, the association has taken proactive measures to prioritize the health and safety of its community members, particularly the elderly and vulnerable individuals. Recognizing the ongoing challenges posed by the pandemic, the association has responsibly suspended in-person activities as an additional precautionary step.

This temporary suspension ensures the protection of elderly and vulnerable members, aligning with public health guidelines and the association's commitment to their well-being. While some in-person activities, such as social visits and food parcel distribution, may be temporarily on hold, the association remains steadfast in its dedication to supporting the community through alternative means and virtual engagements.

Despite these necessary adjustments, the association continues to uphold its core values of community care, cultural enrichment, and support for those in need. The modified plan including online meetings reflects the association's adaptability and commitment to maintaining a safe environment for all members, acknowledging the evolving circumstances brought about by the pandemic.

The association celebrated significant achievements during the specified period, showcasing its commitment to community welfare and support. During the event, we have managed to catch up and update each others on their personal events and circumstances. This initiative facilitated the participation of members, fostering a sense of community and cultural engagement.

We’ve also organised a walkathon and picnic in June 2023. Our members get to bring their bicycles or just their two legs. It was part of our initiatives to get our members to be active and healthy.

In a gesture of compassion and solidarity, the association provided essential financial assistance to the family of the late Allahyarham Siti Norhafizah, Marisa Zainal Abidin, Azurawati, Norbee, Sam Jaafar and Tuk Don. This support was specifically directed towards covering the funeral costs, underscoring the association s commitment to providing assistance during challenging times. This gesture not only demonstrated empathy but also showcased the association's ability to make a meaningful impact on the lives of its members in times of need.

These achievements collectively underscore the association's dedication to promoting cultural exchange, community engagement, and providing meaningful support during challenging circumstances. Through these actions, the club made a positive and tangible difference in the lives of its members and the broader community.
