Annual Report Wild Touch
The charity has had another busy year with amount of animals and birds being treated staying steady, but inevitably the rise in cost of food, heating, vets bills etc has had a big impact on us making decisions about numbers being taken in. Generally donations were down but we did have a generous donation from the Chapman Trust for new cages. We did go ahead with a few outside events/fundraisers one being The Fairy Fair which is always successful, but these have also been curtailed due to the re-emergence of bird flu. The 100 Club still runs as a fundraiser with a cash prize being given out every month.
Volunteer numbers have risen which is a positive.
