**methods**|Appointed by board| ## **Objectives and activities** To advance in life and relieve needs of disadvantaged young people between the ages of 3-18, in Myanmar (Yangon) or those attending a Myanmar Free School in Yangon and its surrounding area through: - (a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of life; - (b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals; - (b) advancing education; In particular but not exclusively through the playing of the sport of rugby _**Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects**_ - **Weekly coaching rugby coaching** - **Providing education lesson in art, drama, english to those children in the coaching programme** **Achievement and performance** Crossing the Gain Line - Reg Number: 1186872 ## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** This was the charity’s first year of operation, during which the charity was formally incorporated and objectives were established and planned activities agreed. ## **Rugby coaching** Four coaching groups were formed using established charity groups that worked with children 3-18. After rugby the children had 45 minutes of music, art and drama classes taken by international teachers. ## **Performance:** The Charities first General Meeting was held in December 2019. All trustees attended. The structure was agreed, and the charity objects confirmed. It was agreed that, where appropriate, the charity will collaborate with other organisations involved with disadvantaged young people in Yangon. ## **Financial review** ## **Brief statement on the charity’s policy on reserves** The meeting agreed: - Opening of a bank account in the charity name, - developing a website. - Continued developing links with charity organisations in Yangon Crossing the Gain Line - Reg Number: 1186872 In March 2020 Covid-19 restriction made it impossible to proceed with any operations.
