Para 1.20 The Richmond Voluntary Fund launched its first public
appeal in February 2020 to residents of Richmond
Borough in Council tax bands G & H. This public appeal
in 2022 raised a total of £79,534 (including gift aid) from
donors in the third year of its existence, all of which is
being distributed between four registered charities:
ADHD Embrace, DSM Foundation, Off the record and
Richmond carers center for their invaluable work
supporting people and children experiencing difficulties
in their day to day lives who live in the London Borough
of Richmond upon Thames. Alongside this appeal the
Richmond Voluntary Fund worked with the London
Borough of Richmond upon Thames to deliver a public
information campaign that helped to raise awareness of
mental health issues amongst children and young people,
and where to get support.
