**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE 1. TO PROMOTE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF BADGERS, THEIR SETTS AND HABITATS IN OXFORDSHIRE AND ELSEWHERE; AND 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC ON THE ECOLOGY, BEHAVIOUR AND PROTECTED STATUS OF BADGERS, THEIR SETTS AND HABITATS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.

**Activities:** We promote the conservation, protection and understanding of badgers, their setts and habitats in Oxfordshire and elsewhere. Activities include recording badger setts/ sightings and reporting wildlife crime. We provide a badger rescue service.  We liaise with professionals, the public to resolve badger issues. We train volunteers and offer education. We own and manage a small ancient wood.
