We have carried out a project funded by Big Lottrey Funding in he new financial year.. Project aimed at promoting inclusion. Make the community a safer place to live, helping everyone take responsibility to improve the places and spaces that matter to them.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
It helped eliminate fear, suspicion amongst neighbourhoods and promoted equality, diversity & inclusion in all areas thereby helping all reach their potential, as we educated and supported participants mentally themselves to become responsible for their activities & actions in the community.
We carried out some surveys in parts of Derbyshire and have regular chats with community members in person and on social media. We discovered that many were uneducated about the different cultures, way of living & social life of others hence the attitude towards others.
It was an eye opener into greater works ahead
