## Wark Recreatonal Charity  (WRC)  year ended 30 th November 2021 

The objective of Wark Recreational Charity is to provide sporting, recreational and social amenities and facilities for the village of Wark-on-Tyne and to welcome those rural areas outside the parish to avail themselves of the same. 

Like many other organisations WRC’s activities were severely constrained by the effect of the sensible and necessary restriction that continued to be imposed during the Covid 19 epidemic and it continued to be impossible to  offer the full spectrum of activities and amenities that this rural area has come to rely upon WRC for.  Where possible continuing maintenance was carried out to ensure that when restrictions were lifted, then some return to former years could be  achieved. Meanwhile fixed costs continued to eat into reserves.
