The Ambitious For All Foundation
Trustees’ Annual Report April 2024 - March 2025
The Trustees continue to raise funds and to seek donations in order to be able to fund activities for students of Applemore College, that further our aims of raising their aspiration and widening their horizons. This financial year our fund-raising activities have included raffles at school events, two on-line raffles, and a very enjoyable Christmas Concert with a local pipe band. We would like to thank all the performers for their generous support.
To further our aim of raising students’ ambition we funded several activities in the school, including:

Funding a new team sports kit

Buying books to support ‘Reading for Pleasure’

A trip to Number 10 Downing Street to visit the Prime Minister’s office and discuss issues of concern to the students with civil servants

Feedback from students, staff and parents has been very positive.
As Chair, I would like to thank my fellow trustees for their continuing commitment, creativity and hard work and all our supporters and donors for their generosity.
