Objectives and Activities
The Glynnis Gale Foundation is established for the benefit of the public in South Africa with the charitable purpose of advancing education and awareness of mesothelioma in Southern Africa and improving access to equitable healthcare and palliative care options for mesothelioma patients.
Events and Activities
Awareness and patient support remain central to the Foundation’s mission. During the reporting period, the Foundation continued to expand its work across research, advocacy, education, and direct patient support. Our outreach efforts have significantly increased, with the Foundation speaking directly to more than 1,200 individuals and responding to nearly 3,000 telephone enquiries from people affected by historical asbestos mining and related diseases . These interactions highlight the ongoing impact of asbestos exposure and reinforce the importance of sustained awareness, education, and support.
