preparlng the Fleport of the tNste8s and the financaal slatements in accordance with applicable law and
United Kingdom Accounting Standards (Untled Kingdom Generally Accepted ACC￿U￿11ng practi￿).
Company law requires the Irustees to prepare financial statements for each financial swar %thtch give a true
and fair view of the stale of affairs of the ¢haritabte company and of the incoming resources and app1itx1￿n
of resources, including the income and expenditure, of the tharitable company for that Peric￿1. In preparing
those financial statements, the trustees are required to-.
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them ￿nsis￿nIty,.

Recruitment* appointment, Induct]on and tralnlng of new trustees
All trustees understand their dutEs and responsibllities as ttuslees and the need to act in the best interests
of the charity. At each AGM the existing truslees explaln lo the new tTuste8s what Is required of them and
appropriate literature is handed outto them. For roles, such as the treasurer, chair and secretary, the exisllng
chairperson meels with prospective twstees to dlscuss th8ir roles and responsibilities and to aS￿rtain the
appropriate skill level of the prosp8dive trustees. Trustees are aware that they retaln overall responsibility
and wntrol of the trustee recruilmenl, selection and induction prO￿S$.
