We now have to mnge a long-tem lease at a peppereorn rent from the landowner who are Womcrsley Parish Council. The 4 trustees as of last year Roy Crossland, Rachel Hattersley, Gina Milne and Manda tknny remain on our charity. We have been encouraged by the addition of three residents who have joined us at our monthly meetings and help with administration. ideas and fundraising activities. Our l 00 Club rnonthly lottery continues to be our main source of revenue. Over 2023 it raised a surplus of £1,4(Ki. Wc were very graleful to rcccivc a donation of £500 from First Direct Bank due to onc of our committee being employed there. On Friday 24. March we held a quiz night at the nearby Blue Lagoon courtesy of the owner Sharon, which rnised £133. Wc held a BBQ at Glek Fann thanks to Ann Rowling on Sunday I. October which added £786.50 to our funds. Both events were well attended. A Beetle Driv¢ which was arranged for Friday I Ir November unfortunately had lo be cancelled due io unforeseen illness. In total over the year, we had a surplus of £3.539.
