To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate
care. prolection, trealment. and security for animals which are in need of
care by reason of sickness. maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill
usage. To educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in

Having had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on
public benefit. the charity has attended call outs from the public to
provide rescue, care and treatment servI￿s. We also supply appropriate

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements ofthe charity
during the year
During ihe year we rescued and received 1126 patients for treatment and
rehabilitation and released 789.
We have worked with and assisted local poli￿, wildlife crime, fire
department and local auihorits'es with rescue and advi￿.
We have also worked with local newspapers and radio for the awareness
of birds of prey and road collisions.
We have provided additional support for other rescues by starting up a
community ne￿Ork for local rescue to use clearer communication and
further verbal support for rescue staff dealing with depression and anxiety
disorders.
Provided voluntary work for special needs.
We have developed training that we are working with CPD to provide
people all over the UK with ￿rtifIed qualifications in wildlife rehabilitation.
