Trustees have made decisions on
accepting cats based on capacity and need
and where necessary have had to prioritise
specific cats/kittens. Where trustees have
not been in a position to take cats in to the
rescue due to capacity difficulties, financial
support has been offered for the care of
cats and endeavours have been made to
liaise and signpost to other rescues and
organisations. Trustees are consulted on
all decisions and pay regard to the public
benefit guidance when carrying out their
responsibilities in relation to the charities
work.

effectively supported 120 cats/kittens and
successfully rehomed 90 cats/kittens.
Willowsway supported the
neutering/spaying of more than 60
cats/kittens therefore reducing the impact
of unwanted litters and kittens.
Willowsway’s financial support to members
of the public has prevented a significant
number of cats from becoming unwanted
and requiring rehoming.
Willowsway’s activities have been solution
focused and ensure through the care of the
cats the wider public benefit.
