## **NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS**
## **1. STATUTORY INFORMATION**
Eastleigh Football Club Community Trust is a private company, limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales. The company’s registered number and registered office address are as below:
**Registered number:** 12124855 Registered office: Silverlake Stadium Stoneham Lane Eastleigh Hampshire SO50 9HT
The company is entitled to exemption from audit under Section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 for the year ended 31 July 2022.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year ended 31 July 2022 in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges his responsibilities for:
- (a) Ensuring that the company keep accounting records which comply with Sections 386 and 387 of the Companies Act 2006; and
- (b) Preparing financial statements which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company as at the end of each financial year and of its surplus or deficit for each financial year in accordance with the requirements of Sections 394 and 395 and which otherwise comply with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 relating to financial statements, so far as applicable to the company.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions. The financial statements were approved by the director and authorised for issue on 26 May 2023 and were signed by:

The report is in respect of an independent examination carried out on the accounts for the year ended 31 July 2022. It is the responsibility of the Treasurer to prepare the accounts, it is my responsibility to carry out procedures on the accounts, to enable me to report my opinion to you.
My procedures consisted of:
- Comparing the accounts to the accounting records
- Comparing the accounting records to evidence on a test basis
- Making enquiries of the accounting staff and Treasurer, as required
No matter came to my attention during the course of my examination that gave me reasonable cause to believe that any material respect, the accounts were mis-stated or that proper accounting records had not been kept or the accounts did not reflect those records.
