Lives have been**<br>**changed for the better by bringing**<br>**socially isolated people back into the**<br>**community and developing new**<br>**friendships.**<br>**The After Loss Clubs support those**<br>**suffering bereavement and have**<br>**benefitted over 60 residents. We**<br>**continue to support over 100 befriended**<br>**people, some of whom have grown in**<br>**confidence and made additional social**<br>**connections and no longer need**<br>**support.**<br>**We arrange a Christmas party for**<br>**volunteers and their befriended person**<br>**and send Christmas cards to all our**<br>**befriended people. Many of the**<br>**befriended people have a disability and**<br>**are housebound.**<br>**The After Loss Clubs and Talking**<br>**Tables groups arrange their own self-**<br>**funded dinners and outings.**<br>**In July 2024 the 3rd Anniversary of**<br>**Talkin Tables was celebrated at Chorley**<br>**Town Hall with a gala dinner and over**<br>**200 beneficiaries of our charity.**<br>**All these activities have contributed to**<br>**improved mental health and improved**<br>**emotional health and  well-being of**<br>**participants.**|
