Currently raising funds to obtain a plot of land for a much needed burial and memorial garden. This garden will allow us all a place to remember and lay to rest our sons and daughters who have been born through a late miscarriage. The garden will provide a healing sanctuary for parents to heal and gain comfort through their grief and loss after losing their baby angel.
With no legal birth certificate for the baby they hold in their arms, families are devasted and are suffering in isolation. The garden will help cherish and recognise their baby’s life by providing a safe space to grieve and reflect.
Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
This garden has the vision to be used to bring the whole family together, where siblings can play to together to unite the family when one or some siblings are missing from their family tree. We have the vision of a memorial wall for those who not wish to bury their baby, but require a name where they can still reflect and be around other families to gain extra support and comfort.
We have been raising funds through charity events, all limited through the Cost Of Living Crisis.
Meetings were held to discuss potential land sights that were brought to our attention and the opportunity presented for a substantial donation to purchase land. This has been ongoing and has given us progression problems with circumstances changing.
We have researched and searched for other suitable land and wanted to work on gaining contacts for the execution of the development of our garden.

Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
We have raised funds through collection pots and selling of flap jacks situated in local businesses and shops. We aim to distribute more to alternative premises.
We are still working closely with influential people who we are still currently working with us to obtain suitable land. These include influential community members and legal representatives who are keen for our charity to succeed and are helping to support and obtain land that we can develop. There has been ongoing delays with the progression of this which has halted planning and progression.
We have worked on Cycling Events and had a stall where we continue to raise awareness of baby loss.
The Freemasons continue to be a great support and help raise funds towards our charity and listen to our aims and goals.
Carboots have been used to sell products and advertise the charity.
We have done fundraisers that have included running events and raffles to win prizes which include an artist pet portrait painting, cake sales etc.
We are working together to think of ways we can get more general public involved in runs etc to raise funds, but we are aware that this will become a lot easier when the land is available to us.
As land is in talks and hopeful that land will be available to us, we have been thinking of ways to develop it and make it aesthetically pleasing.
We have been contacted with various media platforms and have had publications reference to Baby Loss and our aims of the charity.
