To give relief, to heal and comfort, those in need who have experienced distress and bereavement as a consequence of a late miscarriage by the provision of a burial and memorial garden. Currently raising funds to obtain a plot of land for the much needed burial garden. This burial garden will allow us all a place to remember and lay to rest our sons and daughters who have been born through a late miscarriage. The garden will provide a sanctuary for parents to heal and gain comfort through their grief and loss after losing their baby angel. With no legal birth certificate for the baby they hold in their arms, families are devasted and are suffering in isolation. The garden will help cherish and recognise their baby’s life by allowing them in our hearts and give them a place to exist in our World for Eternity. This garden has the vision to be used to bring the whole family together, where siblings can play to together to unite the family when one or some siblings are missing. We have the vision of an angel statue, where the wings are made up with feathers with the lost baby’s name on. (These can be names of babies lost through all types of baby loss. We have been raising funds through charity events, all limited through the Covid Pandemic. Planned events had to be cancelled from either ill health (John o’Groats to Lands End Walk) and the Covid Pandemic. Meetings were held to appoint new Trustees and ways to raise funds through the pandemic and also gain awareness of baby loss. We have researched and searched for suitable land and we continue to do so.

We were successful in receiving a Grant of £5000 through Cornwall Community Foundation and Cornwall Glass Fund. This has been given to help with the aesthetics of the burial garden once land has been obtained.

Section D Achievements and performance We have raised funds through collection pots and selling of flap jacks **Summary of the main** situated in local businesses and shops. He took on his own gruelling challenge walking from one end of Cornwall to the other with his limited mobility. Another event organised by the Trustee Stuart, took on a challenge cycling non stop from Dawn to Dusk. An event taking place in the worst weather possible. We aim to do more public grouped events when the pandemic is over and have discussed the options – Using the Camel Trail for a Monkey Cycle Ride, Using a school to do an event to raise awareness and funds. Investing in the website so it can be more active and informative along with thinking of products we can sell to raise funds. Hoping to obtain higher influential people involved to help in the quest of land – MP’s, Council, advertising etc.

More fundraising is planned in the next financial year when restrictions have been lifted permanently.
Planning Events to obtain more support, hope to involve MP’s, create events for media attention and hope to write a memoir next year of a Baby Angel’s life.
Planning to organise a Group Trustee event to raise further funds. When restrictions lifted, street collection days will be arranged with the Mascot.
