## **Trustees Annual Report 1[st] Jan – 31[st] Dec 2022 St Ives Christian Fellowship** ## **Staff (Paid and unpaid)** Treasurer - Kathy Ray Pastor/Elder - Jason Street. ## **Missions, Missionaries and Home Missions Supported** Armenian Ministries Compassion Through Faith Mission SIM Giving a total of £2,636 to the above missions ## **Overview of Jan 2022 – Dec 2022** We started 2021 with some of the missions/missionaries that we support following this with looking at how, as followers of Jesus we can have a positive impact on our locality and the community. Building healthy followers of Jesus and engaging actively in prayer for the nation and encouraging each other in our faith The church continue to support one another through informal networks and making good use of the church WhatsApp group for prayer and letting each other know what is going on as well as using tried and trusted methods such as home groups, home visits, email and telephone calls. Elspeth has been faithfully working in providing interesting Sunday school lessons for the children. TFM Walk the Way – Rob Mill, was able to join with TFM for a weekend mission to Rushden in July while Jason travelled to the Llyn Peninsular for an eight day mission in October. We are pleased to continue to develop the close links that we have with TFM as we serve God together witnessing to those who do not yet know Jesus as their saviour and support the local churches in their witness. Over the Christmas period some of the church went carol singing outside the homes of those members who are still having to isolate as well as visit the Hay Wain who were thrilled to have along again to sing to their customers. Worship on the Street was an outreach event that we held a few times over the year. It was an opportunity to bless people with sweets and leaflets inviting people to specific church services such as the Carol Service and Easter. This also gave some of us the opportunity to share the reasons why we believe in Jesus and the difference that he has made in our lives. We were sad to say “Goodbye to Sheila Anthony and Peter Cunliffe”, who retired this year. We have worked together with these ministers since arriving at St Ives and have appreciated serving God together. We were pleased to be able to have a church weekend this November with Andy and Rosie leading the services and Bethan running the children’s work. We looked at living life in the power of the Holy Spirit. We continue to thank God for all that He continues to do among us, His faithfulness to us and for moving among us, also for the growth in the church, both spiritually and numerically.
