provided the main for our Christmas
Vouchers for needy familles. Quiz Night and
Easter and Christmas Basket Raffles where the
funds rdised as spent on a variety of both local
projects and Internat￿n￿l Disaster rellef via
Lions International Foundation. In thi5 year we
also started a project to raise funds specifically
for Lions International Blood Research appeal {
UBRAI Whe￿ research is conducted into Blood
can￿r. This ha5 been very successful raising
over £l(KQ thls year and it will contlnue in
2025-26 year.
The Club is a mernber of the Intemational
Association of Lions Clubs. which was
established as a Charitable Incorporated
Organisatiofi IC(O) on 17th April 2017.
Whitstable Uons Club was formed In 1971,. its
purpose is through Servi￿ and financial
support to provide help for those in Deed.

Local Agencies to provide grants to families in
need who whilst often being housed are not
given any support for furnitilTe or white goods.
We have also gNeD over I2￿ Emergency
bottles IMIABI In the year to provide safety
backup for vulnerdble people in their own
homes. The Bottles contain medical and
contad infomation of the vulnerable person.
We continue our eye Glasses recycling project
and have expanded thi5 year to further sites in
Specsavers and Vision Express. This Service
means no eye glasses collected by Lion5 a
sent to L3ndfill.
All Activities of Whitstable CIO are undertaken
by Club members as Volunteers who organise
and run events and assess and recommend
Grant support. We also welcome the support
of non members'Lion5 Friend5. to help at some
events. The Charity has provided over 15LIJ
volunteer l)ours of seNice in support of the
Whitstsble Herne Bay Ginterbury Community

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended **DD / MM / YYYY** . 

As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out  under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
