The charity is registered with HM Revenue & Customs. ## **1.2 Charity’s Address** Ewbank Auctioneers, Burnt Common Auction Rooms, London Road, Woking, GU23 7LN website: www.dollseyetheatre.com ## **1.3 Names of the Trustees Who Manage the Charity** _**Name Appointed**_ Alice Williams 10.08.2019 Nicola McKenzie 10.08.2019 Kate Cowans 10.08.2019 ## **1.4 Names of Advisors & Senior Members of Staf** Amy Ewbank – Advisor, Artistic Director (Doll’s Eye Theatre) Madeleine Berry – Advisor, Producer (Doll’s Eye Theatre) ## **2 Structure, Governance & Management** ## **2.1 Charitable Objects** - (A)To advance the arts, in particular the performing arts for the benefit of the public, particularly but not exclusively, through public performance, theatre, playwriting and drama which challenges audience perceptions of social issues; and (B) to advance the education of young people and the general public in performing and dramatic arts, particularly but not exclusively, through the provision of workshops, performance, public discussion and other educational programmes. ## **2.2 Trustee Selection Methods** Doll’s Eye Trust currently has three charity Trustees with a range of necessary skills and experience necessary to manage the charity efectively. On our Board we have legal expertise, as well as education and fundraising. Trustees are appointed or re-appointed for a term of Doll’s Eye Trust: Trustees’ Annual Report & Financial Statements Page 3 of 6 three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. ## **3 Activities, Achievements & Performance** ## **3.1 Statutory Declaration** The Trustees confirm that they have paid due regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit in deciding what activities the charity should undertake. ## **3.2 Overview** _**(Executive Summary)**_ This year, Doll’s Eye Trust did not conduct any charitable activities in line with their objects. No fundraising activities were undertaken, and as such no funds were raised. Charity advisors commit their time in a voluntary basis and were unable to do so in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, and their own full-time employment. ## **3.3 Looking Ahead** Following on from the efects of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Doll’s Eye Trust will be looking at education projects building on previous experience, in line with our charitable objectives. ## **4 Financial Review** ## **4.1 Details of Any Funds Materially in Deficit** The Charity has no funds which are materially in deficit. ## **4.2 Principal Sources of Funding and Outgoings** No fundraising activities were undertaken in the reporting year, and no outgoings made. ## **4.3 Remuneration of Trustees** All Trustees act in a voluntary capacity and receive no remuneration or other material benefits from their services to the Charity. Out-of-pocket expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred by Trustees in promoting the purposes of the Charity are reimbursed at cost.
