Objectve: We are a Parent Association raising funds for our local school. We are run by parents, staff and friends of the school. The monies are spent on activities to enrich the children's time at school, as well as to help fund equipment needed by the school. We try to have fun fundraising and get the children involved in everything we do.

We have held a lot of events this past year including discos, Frozen Fridays, An Evening of Mediumship, Christmas Fair, Mother and Father’s day sales and two new events which were the Winklebars and the Colour run, both of which were extremely popular.
We started the year with an opening balance of £8470.41 and closed the year with £23,611.51. This included £28,520.16 which was transferred from WISPS following the closure of the nursery known as WISPS. This money is held by PAWS and is ring-fenced for the Nursery in line with our constitution. In addition to this, the committee have agreed that part of the WISPS (now Ducklings) funds will go towards full school expenses, such as the Christmas panto at a ratio of 2/3 PAWS funds, 1/3 Ducklings funds and £5000 towards the Thrive Pod as these things will benefit the nursery children. A separate financial record will be held detailing how the Ducklings money is used. There is £20,867.34 remaining for Ducklings.
Our profit from all events held this financial year was £8736.94. We spent £20,936 on the THRIVE Pod, and we also paid for the Christmas Panto and our Parentkind and Lottery Licence.
Looking ahead, we are pleased to say that we will once again be funding the Christmas panto for Dec 2025. We are yet to agree what our remaining fundraising will be used for during 2025-2026 School year. Watch this space….
