The trustees present their report and accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025.

Charitable activities and objectives

During the year the charity continued to collect donations from the members of public as well as members’ fees. There are continuous commitments from the users and members to support charity’s activities.

The objectives of the charity are the advancement of education of the public in Indian culture through the provision of traditional Indian cultural events. The advancement of health of the public through the provision of health workshops and services.

Essex Indians Independent Examiner's Report

The Trustees of the charity are responsible for the preparation of accounts. They consider the audit requirement but under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 it does not apply. I have been appointment under section 43 of the Charities Act 1993 and report in accordance with the regulations made under section 44 of the act. It is our responsibility to examine the accounts, without performing an audit, and to report to the executive members.

I have examined the accounts and statements on page 4 to 6 which have been prepared on the basis of information and explanations you have given to us.

We have not carried out an audit or any other review, and consequently we do not express any opinion on these accounts.
