In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO. ## **Aims and objectives** To advance the education of school age children in the Dhading Besi region of Nepal in such ways as the trustees see fit, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of grants to provide school lunches and other health and well being programmes. 2 ## **Food2Think** ## **Trustees’ Annual Report For the year ended 31[st] March 2023** ## **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit** To provide grants directly to school(s) (Gayatri Devi Basic School, Dhading), for the provision of daily healthy lunches and development grants for the provision of lunches. ## **Public benefit** In the development of the constitution all communications with and guidance from the Charity Commission including public benefit was discussed by the trustees. ## **Summary of the main achievements during this financial period** Provided lunches for all the children of the Gayatri Devi Basic School each day that the school was open. ## **The charity’s policy on reserves** The Charity works to holding enough funds to fulfil its objectives for a period of 18 months in advance. Providing the grants for the lunches costs between £3500 - £4500 per annum depending on the number of children on the school roll and the cost of food.
