Trustees Annual Report from 25.11.19 to 04.04.21

Charity registration number: 1186574

Board of trustees: Steven McMurray Catherine Livesey Emma Thompson Paul Goodson St.John Livesey

Objectives

Our aims, as set out in our constitution are:

To advance the Christian religion by raising awareness of religious beliefs and practices for the public benefit, by providing education and training amongst church communities.

Our objectives and activities are set to reflect our aims. Our core objectives are:

1. To provide excellent coaching, training and resources for Christians in order for them to learn about, and experience, listening prayer and prophecy.

2. To support churches as they seek to develop a healthy and biblical prophetic culture.

As we continue to work towards these objectives we are developing a growing network of Christians who are being strengthened in their faith and who are better equipped to make their local communities places of peace, justice and reconciliation.

Activities and Achievements

The charity carries out a wide range of activities in pursuance of its charitable aims. The trustees have considered the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit, in particular the specific guidance on the advancement of religion, and consider that these activities, summarised below, provide benefit, both to church members and the wider community.

Coaching

At the moment our main training vehicle is our coaching huddles. These are online cohorts of up to 6 people. Huddles last one year and follow a detailed curriculum. We offer Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 huddles.

We currently have 33 trained Accessible Prophecy coaches in 9 countries.

We are able to provide free or subsidised coaching to individuals who otherwise would not be able to afford the training.

We also offer shorter-term coaching cohorts focused on:

- Leadership Coaching on Prophetic Culture

- The Prophetic Call to Social Justice

We are currently planning to offer some new coaching cohorts on the use of art in worship, and Listening Prayer for Well-being.

We recently received this feedback from one of our huddle participants:

Being a part of a coaching huddle has been a wonderful journey of growing in my ability to not only hear God, but also to _respond_ to him. The huddle has demystified “prophecy” for me by providing sound teaching based on biblical principles. I have been challenged to “exercise my prophetic muscles” in a very safe space, learning to hear for both myself and others. The beauty of this huddle is that learning and encouragement not only come from the coach, but also from the other participants who are in the huddle with me. I feel that this huddle experience has really accelerated my spiritual growth and has given me a deeper desire to build my relationship with God, and the tools with which to do it.

## Workshops/Conferences

During the pandemic we have focused on online workshops, webinars, and ‘drop-in’ sessions, and have successfully run many of these events as means of resourcing people and connecting with them.

As a team we are very clear on our shared ethos and training objectives, so wherever in the world people are accessing Accessible Prophecy events they will be getting the same high-quality teaching.

Over this last year we have run an online ‘learning community’ for a number of churches across Australia and New Zealand.

Regional Teams

We have regional teams established in:

The UK The United States Denmark

The Netherlands The Balkans Australasia

The CEO provides ongoing support, vision, and direction to the team leaders through regular calls and huddles.

One of our priorities this year has been to deepen our investment in our regional teams. We have developed a program of team training and are currently rolling it out.

We are in the process of establishing teams in Canada and Malaysia.

## Content

One of our priorities is to provide churches with excellent resources for spiritual development.

The book _My Sheep Have Ears_ is our primary resource and continues to receive great feedback. It has been translated into Dutch and Serbian. We also have _The Prophecy Course_ and the new _Prophetic Lifestyle Course_ .

We publish a monthly blog via our website.

Catherine Livesey has been very busy this year working on her new book.

## Our finances

The Receipts and Payments account shows receipts of £19,846 and payments of £9,782, providing a surplus of £10,064. This will be retained to ensure a reliable cashflow into next year.

Our principal source of funds are our coaching huddles. We have also received donations.

Structure, governance and management

The method of appointment of trustees is set out in the Accessible Prophecy CIO constitution.

The trustees meet four times a year. Steve McMurray is the chair.

The charity has two employees. Catherine Livesey is the CEO, responsible for leadership of the central team, the coaches and content production. Margaret Ibison is the finance manager, responsible for financial management. Margaret’s work started as a voluntary post, and became paid from 1.4.21.

Catherine Livesey and her husband StJohn Livesey are trustees of Accessible Prophecy CIO. As set out in the constitution, they are a minority of the trustees and are absent during discussions of her terms of employment.

Summary

The Covid-19 pandemic presented a challenge to Accessible Prophecy CIO. Nevertheless, we have expanded our work, taken on another staff member and managed to maintain our finances. We look forward to continuing our work next year.
