**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS THE CONSERVATION AND PROTECTION OF NATIVE RED SQUIRRELS WITHIN NORTH TYNEDALE AND REDESDALE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT.

**Activities:** Our prime concern is the conservation of red squirrels in the local area. We monitor red populations using feeders and trail cameras and provide supplementary feeding during periods of dearth. We may control grey squirrels where they present a threat to neighbouring reds. We  provide assistance and advice to people where reds are visiting gardens. All work is regulated by legal requirements.
