## **– Littlehempston Community Orchard & Meadow CIO Annual Report 2022**

Although we were not able to put on community events at the beginning of the year due to the pandemic, the following activities took place during the course of the year which support the charity’s aims to preserve this old orchard, provide an environment which supports a range of wildlife and to provide a space which our community can use and enjoy:

- Tree planting – new apple trees were planted to ensure the orchard continues to provide apples once the older trees have died out

- Maintenance – the majority of expenditure was on maintenance, to ensure our community can safely access and enjoy the orchard

- Events – we hosted our first community apple pressing day in September, which was very well attended

No income was generated by the charity during of the year.
