Flnancial Revlew and Results for the Yèar
The CIO derives mosl of its income from voluntary donal*)ns and fundraising activilies held within the community. To
a¢h￿ve this Rotariaris give their lime freety to facilitste various events and activitiès and as such the Trust incurs no
costs of govemance.
The CIO has been able to organise sev8ral events during this yèar raising cDnsiderable sums lor donation. 11 has
continued to supwt the local and intemational causes wrth the funds raised.
Income from donations and ftjndraising events. before actNity costs, amounted to £126.687 12024 £94.531} and
donations mad¢ during the year were £37.837 (2024 £35.6761.
Reserves Pollcy
Because the CIO has no overhead costs to fvnd there is no requirement for 5ignific8nt levels of reserves lo be
m8int8in8d, other than restr￿ed donation funds which are onty av8i18ble for distribution to relevant purposes.

accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Slandard applicabl8 irb the UK IFRS1021 issued on 16 July
2014 and the Charities Act 2011.

Unrestricted fvnds are those funds that can be spent at the di%creliors of the charity trustees for any purpose of
the charity. The (und balance represents the unexpended resources held within the fund.
Restricted funds are Ihoso fun(Js wh￿h must be sp8nt as income on the particular purposes 8s specified by the
donor.
Incomo
All incoming resources are r8¢ognised once the charity has entitlement lo the resources, il is certain that the

The CIO is run by the members of Billeritxy MayNower Rotary Club on a voluntary basis and does not incur any
overhead ¢osts as a result. Costs incurred in running events listed under Note 2 ab)ve are attributed directly to
those fundraising activrties.
