We<br>also engage in activities / provide<br>facilities or equipment which supports<br>the school to advance the education of<br>its pupils.In addition, we are the main<br>supporters of the Knights Templar<br>Community Swimming Pool. We have<br>opened this to the wider community<br>through our online booking portal and<br>have been fund raising to replace<br>equipment and refurbish the pool under<br>the SPLASHOUT III project.|

|||This enhancement to the outdoor provision<br>will support the children in their education for<br>many years.<br>**Building Effective Relationships**<br>In order to ensure the long-term future of the<br>school swimming pool we have been<br>engaging with the local community.<br>One of our main achievements was<br>introducing an online swimming pool booking<br>system which has ensured the whole<br>community can easily access the benefits of<br>swimming. The money generated through<br>this contributes the costs of the swimming<br>pool.<br>Community members have also worked with<br>the KTSCA on the SPLASHOUT III project.<br>This will replace ageing plant room<br>equipment and refurbish the pool. We have<br>received grant money and donations<br>towards this project.|

||Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|See above (Summary of the main activities<br>in relation to those purposes for the public<br>benefit, in particular, the activities, projects<br>or services identified in the accounts.)<br>**Advancement of Education**<br>In order to provide workshops and<br>equipment, we also hosted several<br>fundraising activities throughout the year,<br>many of which were open to the community.<br>We hosted a Dinosaur ‘Egg’stravaganza,<br>autumn event with pumpkin hunt and<br>dragons, school discos, secret room gift<br>events, Christmas fayre, raffles, non-uniform<br>days, cake sales and a colour run sponsored<br>event.<br>**Building Effective Relationships**<br>Introducing the online swimming booking<br>system this year has enabled us to<br>effectively engage with the community and<br>offer everyone the opportunity to enjoy the<br>health benefits of swimming. The money<br>received from this will enable the school to<br>continue to provide swimming as a<br>curriculum activity and cover day to day<br>running costs of the swimming pool.<br>The SPLASHOUT III is project is a<br>community project where community<br>members have come together to support the<br>KTSCA in fundraising for new pool<br>equipment and pool refurbishment. This<br>project will support the school children and<br>wider community to live a healthy active<br>lifestyle.|

I report to the trustees of Knights Templar School and community association on accounts for the year ended 31 August 2024 which are set out on pages 1 to 12 

## **Responsibilities and basis of report** 

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act') 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed the applicable directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect; 

- 1 accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 

- 2 the accounts do not accord with those records. 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in the report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
