Achievements and Performance
SORP reference Several events took place this year, including more 1:1 meetings with businesses raising awareness of alternative provisions of funerals including venues.

Para 1.20 | Coffin Club Derby have been asked to arrange an event to be featured on a national ITV programme in April 2024. Further details will be in next years annual report. At the moment the organisation is an information provider, and the difficult juxtaposition as Coffin Club UK moves away from the core purpose continues to be of concern. Coffin Club Derby now has a website and after initial support on the social media aspect has had some setbacks. Our Chair continues to be invited to talks and continues to promote Coffin Club. It was agreed to look into developing into Bereavement and Death Cafes. No funds have been spent or raised in the last year. The work of the trustees ensures that events can be put on for free, with donations of venues, drinks and food. |
