Henley in Arden and District Dementia Café was registered on 19[th] November 2019. The café is wellestablished in the town and meets fortnightly on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, supported by a core group of volunteers. It is known locally as Memory Lane Café.

The charity continues its mission to provide a safe, supportive and inclusive space for individuals living with dementia and their families and carers, enhancing their well-being and quality of life.

The Café provides a supportive community where carers and individuals with dementia can share experiences, receive information, and access guidance from trained professionals.

Over the past year, the Café has seen an increase in attendance. We are now supporting around 50 regular visitors, including individuals with dementia and their carers, reflecting positive word-ofmouth referral from participants. We have introduced a regular subsidised programme of theatre trips and visits outside the town which are well-received.

Volunteers play a crucial role in facilitating activities and supporting attendees and carers during sessions.

The charity is supported by generous donations from the public, grants from community organisations and parish councils and fundraising through local events, such as the town fete.

Total income for the year was £3352.61. Total expenditure amounted to £4563.91, primarily related to provision of excursions. We have successfully managed costs while ensuring the quality of our services remains high.

We are exploring opportunities to expand our outreach and services and support that we provided. Memory Lane Café continues to make a meaningful and positive impact on the lives of those affected by dementia in our community. The charity remains committed to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals and families. We are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from our volunteers, donors and the community, without whom none of this would be possible.
